In this 3 September 2025 published video, host Cash Jordan talks about how Iran’s leaders have launched attacks against their neighbors and US bases in the Middle East, which has prompted new moves from U.S. President Trump.

President Donald Trump stated that the U.S. hit Iran “very hard” during heavy overnight military strikes. The military action was launched in retaliation after Iran fired eight missiles at a U.S. base in Jordan. According to U.S. officials, all but one of the incoming Iranian missiles were knocked down by air defenses, with the single miss landing harmlessly in the desert. The precise, defensive strikes targeted new offensive and defensive equipment that Iran was attempting to build or restore. U.S. forces disabled Iranian radar installations, missile launch sites, and command centers. The U.S. destroyed a rocket system intended to drop mines in the strategic Strait of Hormuz.

Trump emphasized that no U.S. ground forces are involved in these operations. He stated that the U.S. military has significantly degraded the Iranian military’s capabilities in the region and maintains control over the Strait of Hormuz to keep international shipping lanes open.

While Trump noted he does not expect the bombing campaign to last “very much longer,” he warned that American forces remain fully prepared to launch additional strikes at any time if Tehran continues to escalate tensions.
