Some, uh, some news!

The US Army just announced it's increasing its maximum enlistment age from 34 to 42. Previously, you had to be in boots and at Basic Training before you turned 35, but now you’ve got until your 43rd birthday to do so.

They also included a provision that removes the waiver for a single conviction of marijuana possession or a single conviction of drug paraphernalia possession to enlist.

People online have a bunch of thoughts about the whole thing!

A bunch of people are bringing up millennial trauma, "Boomers weren't quite done with the fucking over Millennials."

Another person pointed out, "raising the age to grab the oldest millennials is a really good bit."

The Menswear Guy joked, "Here are 5 menswear outfits to make recruitment officers think you're 43."

And my personal favorite: "They underestimate just how tired a 40 year old is."

Other people are saying, "It will be 81 by August."

Other people celebrated their ailments, "Never thought I’d be thanking god for my herniated disc."

This person realized their mid-life crisis options just expanded, "mid life crisis plans just got a big one."

Annnnd lastly, this person saying the quiet part out loud: "Not ominous at all."

Thoughts???
