(NewsNation) — Tesla CEO Elon Musk has once again claimed a spot as the richest man in the world on Forbes’ World’s Billionaire List for 2026.
Forbes recently released its annual list, which showed a record total of 3,428 entrepreneurs making the cut this year, up 400 from 2025’s list. The billionaire class is also richer, worth a combined $20.1 trillion dollars, which is $4 trillion more from last year.
Musk has increased his net worth since the last list from $428 billion to now $839 billion. He is more than three times richer than Google’s Larry Page and Sergey Brin, along with Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, who are in the number 2, 3 and 4 spots, respectively.
According to Forbes, the ranking of billionaires is based on stock prices and exchange rates, as of March 1. Here’s a look at who made the top 20:
